David E, Mills and wife Bess purchased the funeral business from
Martin Weber complete with horse drawn hearse which was soon replaced with a
motorized model.
Dave went to school in KC and became a licensed mortician.
Bess and Dave operated the Mills Funeral Home for 40 years.
In 1956 they sold to Wilson's Funeral in Pond Creek.
